Happy weekend!

Dear Friends,

A three-day weekend is upon us, allowing an extra day to take a trip, go to the beach, or just enjoy a little rest as we bid farewell to summertime.

At Cross Schools, our daily prayers continue to be with those who are suffering from the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. Our students came to school in casual dress today, as part of our "Dress Down for Texas" effort, raising just under $2,500! The coolest part about it is that we know our school family would have given not a dime less even if our students were required to wear plaid and khaki today. Thank you again, from the bottom of our hearts, for your generosity!

In addition to a Dress Down Day to raise funds, our students decorated cards to send heartfelt comfort to our friends in Texas. The compassion that our students feel toward those affected is so evident in their words. Our hope is that those in Texas feel our prayers and are comforted by the love of others and of Christ.

We look forward to seeing all of you on Tuesday. Have a wonderful and safe weekend!
